The best option for visiting this beautiful zone in only one day, where you will visit two National Parks, living the adventure of sailing the Patagonian Fjords, admiring the millenary Glaciers, and the unique beauty of Torres del Paine National Park.
Itinerary:
7:15 am: Passengers must be at “Turismo 21 de Mayo” office located at Eberhard Street #560, Puerto Natales, and then be transferred to local wharf . The navigation starts at 8:00 am from Puerto Bories heading to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers through the Ultima Esperanza Fjord, with nice views of amazing mountains, waterfalls, and Patagonian Birds.
11:30 am: We begin our visit to Balmaceda Glacier and later on a trekking through a leafy forest of Ñirre and Coihues until reach at the feet of Serrano Glacier.
1:00 pm: We will have lunch at Monte Balmaceda Hotel; which includes a “pisco sour”, soup, salmon with accompaniment, dessert and wine or juice. Later on, at 2:30 pm we starts our up streams navigation by Serrano River, with views of the Southern Ice Field and Patagonian forest.
We arrive to Serrano Village around 4:30 pm where begins the tour to Torres del Paine National Park, visiting Lago Grey” , “Salto Grande”, “Lago Nordenskjold” and “Laguna Amarga”. Afterward we begin the return trip to Puerto Natales, arriving around 9:30 pm.

Frequent Questions
First part of trip is carried out in a yacht/motor, all of them with panoramic decks in order to enjoy the landscape and it has the capacity of 50 to 80 passengers approximately. Second part of trip is on “zodiacs” (uncovered speed boats)
What does the lunch includes?
The lunch includes soup, salmon , salad, dessert, wine or drinks. There is a vegetarian option which you can ask for when you make your reservation.
What kind of vehicles are used?
The vehicles will depend on number of passengers in the tour, therefore a 6-passengers-van can be used or a 19 seats minibus.
Is it possible to see the famous “Towers” during the tour?
The three peaks known as “Torres del Paine”, “Los Cuernos del Paine”, and the rest of the mountainous massif can be seen with a panoramic view from different lookouts where the tour stops. The tour goes through the 60 kilometers of road inside the park which is located in front of the massif where is possible to admire the peaks. The visibility will depend on the cloudy condition.
The tour does not visit the “Towers”, and can be seen see them in a panoramic view, as mentioned previously. For visiting them is necessary the “Trekking Base las Torres” or “W Circuit”.
What happens if navigation is cancelled due to bad weather conditions?
The navigation is subject to weather conditions; therefore it can be cancelled before or during the trip. In this case the operator company offers an alternative land excursion , or a part of the fee or the entire amount of money will be refund depending on the case.
