Kayak / San Pedro River / Cape San Isidro / San Nicolás Bay/ Cape Froward (4 days -3 nights)

Four days, heading towards the most southern point in American continent “Cape Froward”. We explore the coast line that only sailors and some brave ones do by foot until we reach the most southern point of the continent.  You will experience the same conditions faced by Hernando de Magallanes and corsair sir Thomas Cavendish who named Froward cape. Additionally we will confront the most extreme conditions of wind and waves in the mythical Strait of Magellan, testing our kayaking skills, we will experience the real sensation to be in the wild Patagonian channels, this trip is not for novice people. We would probably face storm conditions, some high waves and unexpected conditions through our long journey, yet we will be supported by a boat which will be contacted by radio call as a safety contact. You have great chances of seeing marine fauna such as sea wolves, even humpback whales, along with majesty birds like petrel, albatross (albatro de ceja negra) in an evergreen forest landscape, on a coast of beautiful bays, and some rocky cliffs.
We depart early in the morning at 7:00 am from Punta Arenas, it is one hour driving up to the point where we get our the kayaks, we prepare all the gear and then we go.  We are supported by a  zodiac boat to watch over the security and transport our lunch and equipment to the place where we stop for a break. In 2 hours we reach San Isidro light house, we pass by it and we continue to El Aguila Bay, where we will prepare lunch and visit the ruins in this place which was used as a whale station in the Magellan Strait, for more than 100 years ago. El Aguila ( eagle) bay. We stop to eat, and then we continue our journey to the south west until reaching San Nicolas bay where we camp.  The next day we continue our path and we will start confronting unprotected shores, this will make us be aware that we are  at the southest point of the continent where most sailors succumbed to the wild winds. We camp at the Rosas bay or Froward cape. On the third day we return in the zodiac boat to the place where we leave on our first day. We stop at San Isidro lighthouse, we walk and visit the lighthouse. At the beach we eat our lunch or snack, in order to continue to the point where everything started. Finally we celebrate this great feat with a beer.
