This excursion starts from the Bigfoot Camp located on the northeast shore of Lake Grey at Torres del Paine National Park. Here the guides will perform a briefing, explaining the route, the time it will take and also testing and adjusting all equipment of each passenger.
Then, we sail in a zodiac boat for 15 minutes until the west arm of the Grey Glacier. Upon arrival, we disembarked on the island of the glacier (nunatak) and we begin to walk for about 1 hour until you reach the ice. Before , the guide will give a safety chat , in which explain the techniques of displacement in the ice and the correct use of the equipment.
Once completed the safety chat, will begin our exploration on the Grey Glacier with a walk of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, time in which we can see cracks, rivers, lagoons and tunnels with different shades of light blue. After 3 hours on glacier, we start our return to the camp.
