Itinerary:

Between 6:30 to 7:00 am departure from hotels in Puerto Natales and transfer to Cerro Castillo Village (Border) to carry out all needed tramits for crossing to Argentina . Later on we will visualize Tapi- Aike, a typical Patagonian ranch located at 50 kms away and if we’re lucky, on a clear day we can see the fabulous Torres del Paine. Around 11:00 am. we’ll be at the viewpoint of Lago Argentino, Santa Cruz River, the peaks of Chalten and Fitz Roy. Later in El Calafate city we’ll make a short half hour stop for money-exchange or coffee services. Then we continue our journey to Perito Moreno Glacier (Los Glaciares National Park) 12 kms long, 8 km wide and over 70 meters of ice walls above sea level.

After spending around 2 ½ hours in the place observing the glacier from different viewpoints and trails we start the return to Puerto Natales.

(Note: Passengers who request at time of booking may stay in the city of El Calafate instead of returning to Puerto Natales and will be dropped off at the bus terminal of El Calafate City)

Departures

  • Pick up at hotels: 6:30 to 7:00 am app. / Return and drop off at hotels in Puerto Natales : 10:00 – 11:00 pm.
• In case of drop off in El Calafate (at bus terminal / not hotel) the estimated arrival time is around 5:00 pm.

Pick up at hotels, shared transportation, spanish speaking driver , english speaking guide from/to El Calafate only.

Not Includes:

Lunch and entrance fee to National Park Los Glaciares (AR$ 800 (Argentinian Pesos) / payment in cash only)

What documents do you need to enter Argentina and accomplish the trip? – Chilean and MERCOSUR countries (Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay): original current ID card (supporting documents ,birth certificate or marriage certificate will be not accepted) – FOREIGNER: Original current Passport. ? – CHILDREN: They require following documents depending on who they are traveling with: Both parents: birth certificate and registration of marriage and family book. One of the parents: birth certificate and notarial permit document. Of age people who are not their parents: birth certificate and notarial permit document.

What kind of vehicles are used? It will depend on the amount of passengers in the tour, therefore a 9-passengers-van or a 30-passengers-bus can be used.

Can I finish the tour in El Calafate instead of coming back to Puerto Natales? Yes, you can, as previously mentioned on the tour details. You just need to point it out when you make your booking. Does the tour runs on mentioned months only? Yes, the tour can only be carry out on mentioned months. June and July are usually complicated due snow and cumulative ice on the roads. During the low season trips will depend on the weather conditions, but during high season there is no inconvenience.

Is it possible to add the glacier navigation during the tour ? Our company does not offer this navigation because we cannot guarantee to arrive at departure times of navigation due tramits at border might delay the trip. Besides that it will depend on the weather conditions. We suggest you to ask the tour guide at the park. The price of this Navigation is: AR$1.000 (Argentinian Pesos/ payment in cash only).
