We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Natales for travelling to Estancia 3R (Cattle Ranch) located at 75 miles of the city. Once arrived at ranch, enjoy a welcome briefing about life style of Patagonian Ranches.
First we will make a short trekking of half an hour to visit Laguna Irene, a place to observe and photograph birds of the surroundings and we will talk about the process of colonization of Patagonia, history of the first human occupations of the place, habits and social importance of the place for the first population. Then we will board our vehicle to go to where we will begin our medium level trekking (7,4 miles)
We will take a path of medium inclination, with a view of the Bagual mountain range, an area where pumas, guanacos and Baguales (wild horses) live. The tour continues to a viewpoint located 0,7 miles above sea level, from where it is possible to have a panoramic view of the entire sector. Here we will have time to enjoy our box lunch and take more pictures.
We will also be able to observe marine fossils, dating from more than 50 million years approximately.Later on we will take the road back to the ranch to board our vehicle that will take us back to Puerto Natales.
